I have known about Camera Obscura for quite some time now, but this song came on spotify the other day and I can’t turn it off. It might be the perfect song to kick off the soundtrack of my life, right now. Enjoy.
I am very excited to finally be able to see Fitz and The Tantrums live next week. I have enjoyed them for a few years now, but have been told numerous time that if I can see them live, do it. Such a good band!
Let me start off by saying, I have known this kid since he was 17 or 18 years old. One day when he was working as an intern for an old production company i worked for, he came up to me and said “Jessie I am a rapper.” I laughed so hard I almost peed in my pants. This kid is the walking definition of a white frat boy- god love him (he also says some of the best one liners and we started a twitter feed of his sayings. Check it out). He then made me listen to a song of his. While is was very entertaining, I didn’t think he should quit school and follow his rapping dreams. Fast forward to about 3 years later and we find ourselves working together again and he told me he started a website for his songs. I couldn’t pull my smart phone out of my purse fast enough to have a listen. Oh my golly, this stuff was light years better then the last thing I listened to and I couldn’t believe this was really little Andrew singing. His music always puts a smile on my face. Not only can he rap, he is also hilarious. So take a listen and below is his picture, just so you can really get the point! Also, we are planning to shoot a music video for one of his songs soon. I’ll keep you posted. 
I feel like The Shivers don’t get enough love and with a song this beautiful, I think that’s a shame. Enjoy and put them on your ipod. You won’t regret it.
This is my friend’s new music venture. Who knew a Harry Potter rap group could be so awesome. We are having them rock out on our show Nov. 2 and they are releasing a CD in mid Nov. Hopefully, I will be able to put some video up of their performance here- spoiler- he has a lot of potter bling….
Please tell me you have heard of Holy Ghost Tent Revival . They are based out of Greensboro, NC and tour the east coast a lot. I know, in the past year, I have seen them more times then I can count and they put on such a great show. You really should check them out, if you get a chance. Also, side note, my good friend’s boyfriend directed this music video. Enjoy.
Paolo Nutini is hands down my favorite artist out there. He is from Scotland and I wish he was bigger over here, so he would tour here more often. I was lucky enough to see him a few years back at bonnaroo and he is amazing live. It’s was really hard for me to pick a sing to post, I love them all, but this one holds a special place for me.
I can listen to Jamie Lidell 24/7 and never get sick of him. Love, love, love him.
